Joseph W. Balesteri Inducted As President Of The Society Of Trial Lawyers

It is our pleasure to announce that our very own Joseph W. Balesteri was inducted as President of The Society of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Balesteri’s Presidency was made official during the Society’s Annual Election Meeting, which was held last Wednesday, September 24, 2014.

The Society of Trial Lawyers is a prestigious organization that is limited to only 250 participants. The members are exclusively invited to join; those without an invitation cannot join. The society consists of Chicago’s top lawyers. It is a place where premier trial attorneys can come together in the spirit of fraternity, garnering a loyalty for each other. The club maintains high ethical ideals to make sure trial of cases are lead fairly. Finally, the society promotes stronger relationships among trial lawyers and the judiciary to make sure that justice is served in the jury trial system.

Joseph Balesteri’s experience and accolades make him the perfect candidate for the presidency. Mr. Balesteri received his B.S. at Indiana University and his J.D. at DePaul University College of Law. Prior to working at Power Rogers, he served as a defense lawyer with the law firm of Hinshaw and Culbertson, focusing on professional liability and medical malpractice. Having worked as an attorney, he brings insight into how the other side things.

Not only that, since starting with Power Rogers in 2000, Mr. Balesteri has settled over $400 million in recovery. He was named “Leading Lawyer,” “Super Lawyer,” and “Top 100 Lawyer,” and is renowned by his peers. With his extensive and prominent experience in law, Mr. Balesteri deserves his appointment as President of the Society of Trial Lawyers.
