Thomas G. Siracusa Named Chicago-Kent Alumnus of Distinction

As a part of its 125th Anniversary Celebration, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law honored its most successful and influential alumni. Thomas G. Siracusa, a partner at Power Rogers, was among those named to the Chicago-Kent Alumni of Distinction List. Siracusa was recognized as being a leader in the area of personal injury law, based on his experience with complex litigation and his record of obtaining substantial compensation for catastrophic injury victims.

Examples of the exceptional results achieved by Mr. Siracusa included a $19.25 million settlement for a child who suffered a brain injury after she was administered an improper dose of medication. His involvement in the resolution of a $12.2 million medical malpractice case, one of the highest results ever reached in Lake County, was also cited.

Discussing his career, Siracusa emphasized the importance of advocating for victims and their families and the personal satisfaction he derives from helping to make a difference in their lives. He thanked Chicago-Kent for encouraging students to get out and experience the practice of law. Siracusa credited Chicago-Kent’s practical approach to the study of law and his early exposure to the practice of law as being most influential in determining his career path.
