Biography
Sara concentrates her practice in medical malpractice, wrongful death, construction accidents, trucking accidents, and catastrophic personal injury litigation. She is widely recognized for her trial skills, strategic case development, and commitment to achieving meaningful results for her clients.
A respected leader in the legal community, Sara is actively involved with the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Women’s Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. Her work has earned her numerous honors, including recognition as a Top Women Leader in the Law (2022), a Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 in Illinois (2015), and a Top 10 Female Lawyer Under 40 by Leading Lawyers (2020). She has also been recognized for her pro-bono service by both the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the Lake County Bar Association.
In 2012, Sara transitioned to working for injured victims. Prior to that she worked for defense firms. This allowed Sara to learn and witness the ways that large corporations and insurance companies make decisions. The transition was easy as Sara has always been drawn to the underdog.
Sara is humbled that her clients invite her into their lives during their worst and most frightening days. Sara cannot change what has occurred, but she navigates her clients through a complex and difficult process ensuring their voices are heard and they receive full compensation for their losses.
Sara lives in Chicago with her husband, Tim, and their daughter, Samantha.
