Super Lawyers is an incredible honor, as it recognizes the most excellent lawyers across the nation in 70 practice areas. Selection to the list is a testament to our firm’s dedication to ethical, results-based practice of trial law. Each list only contains the top 5% of attorneys in the nation, so it is an exclusive marker of exceptional skill. Our firm is proud to represent a large portion of the Illinois list.
Attorneys are selected to the list through a rigorous process led by the leading legal researchers in the nation. Through thousands of peer surveys and weeks of diligent research, leading lawyers from each practice area in each state are compiled. From there, the leading legal practitioners will vote for the attorneys they believe are most deserving. The process is validated through a series of rules to ensure that voting is based on merit.
The purpose of this process is to create a dependable and credible resource for both the legal community and those in need of legal aid. By providing a list of highly-skilled and ethical attorneys, the legal profession as a whole maintains its integrity while providing easy access to exceptional representation. As such, the list is limited to attorneys who are available to represent the public, such as those who practice privately.
