Ever since he became the youngest attorney in the nation to secure a jury verdict in excess of $1 million at 28 years old, attorney Joseph A. Power, Jr. has set a standard for excellence that few others have been able to meet. After securing more than $1 billion in verdicts and settlements for his clients and winning countless awards over the course of his career, Mr. Power, Jr. has been inducted into the Lawdragon 500 Hall Of Fame.

This honor serves to recognize the select few lawyers that Lawdragon recognized for their craft and enduring contribution to the legal profession every year since its inception. In Issue 17 of the Lawdragon 500 magazine honoring the new members of the Hall of Fame, Mr. Power, Jr. is described as,

“A true working class hero for the most badly injured Chicagoans, Power appeals to juries and judges alike with brains, persuasion, tenacity and heartfelt dedication.”

The list of lawyers included in the Lawdragon 500 Hall of Fame is limited – only 91 as of the time of this publication – and it contains some of the most well respected and recognized legal minds this country has ever seen, including Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer.

“It is truly an honor to represent people when they need it the most,” said Power, Jr. “and I am extremely humbled by Lawdragon’s recognition.”

Mr. Power, Jr. is consistently recognized as one of the best personal injury attorneys in the United States. He has fought to defend the rights of injured victims throughout the Chicago area for almost 40 years, obtaining over 200 jury verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million, including several record-setting decisions during that time.
