It has been an incredible year for Power Rogers Our Chicago personal injury lawyers have dedicated countless hours to our clients and we are proud of what we have been able to accomplish. With the New Year approaching fast, we wanted to do a quick recap of our most popular blogs this year and what they mean to us. We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has trusted our firm. We look forward to helping even more clients in 2016.
Cynosure Picosure Litigation
In August, our partner, Devon Bruce, filed a class action lawsuit against a company called Cynosure. Our blog discussed the claims of false advertising of Picosure, the companies purported tattoo removal machine. The complaint alleged that machines were sold all over the United States with the promise of removing tattoos despite the machine’s inability to do so. According to the allegations, Cynosure continued to falsely advertise the machine amidst questions from dermatologists and tattoo removal professionals and refused to provide a refund.
#1 Finish in Chicago Lawyers’ Annual Settlement Survey
For the sixth consecutive year, Power Rogers finished in first place in Chicago Lawyer’s Annual Settlement Survey. Our blog post in October discussed the importance of this recognition and what it means for our clients. It is a testament to our ability to help recover compensation on behalf of our clients and only solidifies what we have accomplished over our history.
$10.4 Million Medical Malpractice Verdict
In October, our team posted a blog regarding a case in which our client, a medical malpractice victim, suffered an amputation of their left hand and toes from both feet. This was due to an overdose of medication while the victim was in the ICU. The case went to the jury and took just 2.5 hours to return with a verdict in favor of our client to the amount of $10.4 million.
